Valedictorian Application

Central Island Graduates:

We are currently accepting applications for our July 18 Graduation Ceremony.

There will be Valedictorians chosen to represent each faculty: Business, Healthcare & Human Services/Justice.

We will be selecting those who have the best success stories to represent their faculty. We encourage everyone to apply from the academically gifted to the underdogs, as you’re all in the running!

Those selected from each faculty will receive $1,000 after giving their speech.

Guiding Questions (please use a minimum of 6):

Why did you choose to go to school?

2. What was your goal when enrolling in your program?

3. What were you doing prior to coming to school?

4. Government funded students: please include your funder!

5. What challenges were faced & how did school solve them?

6. What was an obstacle you overcame during school?

7. What are you most proud of accomplishing during your program?

8. How would you describe your experience at DCC?

9. Where are you currently working?

10. What advice would you give to someone considering going to school?
