Practical “On-The-Job” Training
As a student in the Discovery Community College Community Support Worker Diploma program, you’ll train hands-on during three practicums in real Community Support work settings. Practicums are an excellent way to gain real world experience, make important industry connections and try different aspects of the profession before you graduate.
You will participate in a problem solving, case study, learner centered approach to education.
