“I was struggling to get a stable job and one of my friends told me about the Health Care Assistant (HCA) HACP program and my sister was working at the facility where they offer that program, she referred me, I got interviewed called from the Director of Care, and got selected for the program.

I am proud to share my success story as a graduate of the health care assistant program from Discovery Community College. This program has been a life changing opportunity that helped me gain knowledge, skills and confidence needed to begin a meaningful career in health care. The support I received from instructors, staff played a key role in my success. They provided guidance, encouragement, and practical feedback that helped me overcome challenges and grow both professionally and personally.
