Jessica Sarginson – Practical Nurse Generic Graduate, Campbell River

“Before returning to school, I worked as a Health Care Assistant and discovered how meaningful it is to support people during some of the most important moments of their lives. That experience inspired me to continue my education so I could expand my knowledge, take on greater responsibility, and make an even bigger difference in patient care.

My time at Discovery Community College was filled with growth, challenges, and opportunity. With the support of dedicated instructors and classmates, I built confidence in my abilities and developed the skills needed to begin my nursing career. Today, I am proud to be starting the next chapter of my journey at Comox Valley Hospital and carrying forward the compassion and commitment that inspired me to become a nurse.
